Welcome to Safaa. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy applies to the Safaa mobile application (Android & iOS) and our website.

2. Data Collection

We prioritize user privacy. However, to provide account functionality, gamification features, and accurate service delivery, we collect and store the following data on our secure servers (Firebase):

Account Information: Your email address (for authentication, support, and account recovery).
Location Preferences: Your selected Country and City to calculate accurate prayer times.
Activity & Gamification Data: We store your marked acts of worship (prayers performed, adhkar, etc.) solely to track your progress, calculate leaderboard scores, and award achievement badges.

We do NOT collect or store your precise GPS location (background location) on our servers. Any precise location access is processed locally on your device solely for Qibla direction.

3. Third-Party Services & Data Collection

We use third-party services to improve the stability, security, and functionality of Safaa. These services may collect information used to identify your device for analytical and diagnostic purposes.

Firebase Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand usage patterns. This service may collect data such as your mobile device’s unique ID, IP address, operating system version, and retention metrics.
Firebase Crashlytics: To fix bugs and improve app stability, we use Crashlytics. In the event of an error, this service collects crash reports, which may include device state information, device identifiers, and stack traces at the time of the crash.

4. Account Deletion (Your Rights)

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. If you wish to delete your account, please send an email to support@appsafaa.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We will process your request and delete your data within 30 days.
